Although I’m really not that big into Star Wars (much more of a Trekkie), I can’t help but relate to Ben Solo. From a young age, I was incredibly vulnerable, and I was singled out by disagreeable relatives and groomed to hate my family. If I had caught mom having a moment of weakness similar to Luke’s, I’m not entirely sure I wouldn’t have done what Ben did. While I don’t necessarily ship Reylo (not sure it can be done well), I really hope that Ben finds inner peace at the end of Episode IX.
Kylo Ren scares me because he’s what I imagine an abusive boyfriend
would be like. I’m also terrified he’ll end up with Rey, and if he does, I’ll
feel so sick and disturbed.
I recently went on a Disney cruise where they had a Star Wars Day at Sea. Honestly, SWDaS wasn’t as much fun as I thought. I’m more of a casual Star Wars fan and everything seemed catered to more die-hard fans. Next time, I’ll think twice before going on a themed vacation.“
“I love Star Wars Rebels so much. I hope once it’s finished we’ll still get stories about the remaining Ghost crew members in comicbooks”
“I sent a confession earlier complaining about Star Wars land. After I sent it I decided to give the series a try. I watched The Force Awakens and I loved it so much! I really should’ve watched the movies before I judged them. Now I’m really excited to see what Star Wars land has in store!”
“Im a little disappointed that fhey put Finn and Rose together in the new Star wars film. Because I really like Finn and Rey together. Finn and Rose dont seem to have very good chemistry. Hopefully in the new film they will let Finn and Rey be together. Fingers crossed.”
It makes me uncomfortable the way John Boyega is always speaking disparagingly of “Stormpilot” (shipping Finn and Poe), acting like it’s all in Oscar Isaac’s head, etc. I know he had a strong religious upbringing, and I’m worried that’s why he doesn’t want to play a gay character.
