I recently went on a Disney cruise where they had a Star Wars Day at Sea. Honestly, SWDaS wasn’t as much fun as I thought. I’m more of a casual Star Wars fan and everything seemed catered to more die-hard fans. Next time, I’ll think twice before going on a themed vacation.“
“I love Star Wars Rebels so much. I hope once it’s finished we’ll still get stories about the remaining Ghost crew members in comicbooks”
“I sent a confession earlier complaining about Star Wars land. After I sent it I decided to give the series a try. I watched The Force Awakens and I loved it so much! I really should’ve watched the movies before I judged them. Now I’m really excited to see what Star Wars land has in store!”
“Im a little disappointed that fhey put Finn and Rose together in the new Star wars film. Because I really like Finn and Rey together. Finn and Rose dont seem to have very good chemistry. Hopefully in the new film they will let Finn and Rey be together. Fingers crossed.”
It makes me uncomfortable the way John Boyega is always speaking disparagingly of “Stormpilot” (shipping Finn and Poe), acting like it’s all in Oscar Isaac’s head, etc. I know he had a strong religious upbringing, and I’m worried that’s why he doesn’t want to play a gay character.
Rey and Kylo’s relationship in The Last Jedi reminded me a lot of Kiara and Kovu’s relationship in Lion King 2. Luke Skywalker is like Simba, with the way he reacts when he sees the two together, and Zira is like Snoke, who wants to manipulate Kovu for her vengeance. Kovu wants to prove himself to Zira, but ends up turning on her to save Kiara, just like Kylo turns on Snoke to save Rey.
For somebody who hasn’t seen the complete film (let alone series) of Star Wars, I make jokes around it. Like, my mother’s birthday falls on May 4th, so this one time I got her a Darth Vader balloon where it played the imperial march (knowing she doesn’t know anything about the movies either) but it was a novelty gift.
